Milk Education is currently recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Denton on a long-term basis starting immediately.
The role involves supporting a Year 7 pupil with severe anxiety, providing constant reassurance, breaking lessons into manageable chunks, and using low-stimulus strategies to help the student engage with lessons.
You will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCo to maintain routines and be a calm, patient presence throughout the day.
