We're currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisors to work in Secondary Schools in South Tyneside and surrounding areas on a long-term, short-term, or day-to-day basis, starting in September.
This role offers temporary, long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing in the Role
- Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of the classroom teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on task throughout lessons.
- Building positive relationships with students to promote confidence, participation, and a respectful learning environment.
- Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.
Essential Qualifications
- Recent experience working with children or young people within a school, coaching, youth work, tutoring, or similar setting.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
- Degree educated or relevant experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
- Ability to confidently lead a classroom, follow school policies, and work collaboratively with teaching staff.
