Aspion Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established transport and distribution company based in Sandycroft, Deeside.
We have opportunities available across both day and night shifts, with a choice of multi-drop distribution or straightforward trunking work depending on your preference.
The Job
Day Shifts - Multi-Drop Distribution

Class 1 curtain-sided deliveries to commercial customers
-
Palletised multi-drop distribution across the region
- 07:30 starts
-
Varied routes with regular customer interaction

Loading and unloading requirements vary by delivery location
Night Shifts - Trunking
-
Straightforward trunking, typically one destination per shift
-
18:30 starts
-
Palletised loads loaded and unloaded by warehouse staff
-
Curtain-sided trailers with standard mirrors
-
Minimal manual handling
What We Need
-
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
-
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
-
Previous Class 1 driving experience

Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations

Reliable, professional approach to work

Flexibility to work your preferred day or night shift pattern
What You'll Be Doing
-
Completing scheduled deliveries, collections or trunking routes

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

Ensuring loads are safely secured

Completing relevant paperwork and delivery documentation

Following drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations

Maintaining a professional standard when representing the client
