We're seeking Student Progress Coaches to join Primary Schools based across North Durham.

- Progress Coach - Requirements & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- A positive, enthusiastic and supportive approach to helping children achieve their full potential
- Recent experience working in a school, education or similar learning environment (preferred)
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- A genuine commitment to supporting pupils' learning, development and wellbeing
- Progress Coach - Main Responsibilities
- Motivate and inspire pupils to engage consistently and positively in lessons
- Encourage independence by helping pupils develop effective communication, organisation and self-management skills
- Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support to help learners overcome barriers and make progress
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and provide encouragement and guidance throughout their learning
- Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and confidentiality, in line with school policies and procedures
