We're currently hiring for Engagement Mentors to join Secondary and SEN Schools across Chester-le-street and the surrounding areas.

Engagement Mentor - What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children's learning
- Understanding of additional needs and how to support them
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar β or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
Engagement Mentor - Your Key Responsibilities:
- Encouraging independence by helping pupils develop communication and self-management skills
- Supporting learners by providing one-to-one or small group assistance
- Build strong working relationships with teachers and other professionals to create a collaborative learning environment
- Maintaining safeguarding and confidentiality, following school policies
