Graduate Classroom Supervisor (Secondary School)


Location: Chester-le-street + Surrounding Areas


We are recruiting for Classroom Supervisors for 11-18 Secondary Schools in Chester-le-street and the surrounding areas, to work on an ongoing basis for the #removed# academic year.

Schools use Classroom Supervisors to support non-contact time for teachers - you will be given the opportunity to gain classroom management experience without being a qualified teacher, in a school which offers a welcoming and supportive teaching and learning environment.

Your role & responsibilities:


Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher


Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils


Follow and implement the school's Safeguarding and Behaviour policies


Liaise with the school's Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes


No planning or marking required

Graduate-level qualification


Passion for education and working with children and young people


Hard-working, flexible and reliable


Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
