- Build strong, trusting relationships with students who may be disengaged from education
- Deliver and support sessions around gang awareness, consequences, and positive alternatives
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive decision-making
- Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively

- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
- Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing
- Act as a positive role model, encouraging respect and accountability

- Resilient, confident, and able to build rapport with challenging students
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Interest in careers such as youth justice, social work, or gang prevention
- Experience with SEMH/SEN needs is desirable but not essential
