We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Manchester on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis
You'll be joining an inclusive and supportive secondary school environment in Bury, focused on pupil development, wellbeing and creating a strong sense of community.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or aspiring educator to gain valuable hands-on experience in a secondary school while becoming a familiar face within the school community.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups across different subjects
- Helping pupils develop their confidence, engagement and independent learning skills
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, resources and interventions
- Supporting a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements or Skills:
- A recent degree or relevant higher-level qualification is desirable
- Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous
- Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
- Enthusiastic about developing a career within education and comfortable working as part of a school team

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
