We're currently recruiting for a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant to join a friendly Primary School in Nottingham on a long-term basis starting in September.

You'll be joining a caring and supportive school that is committed to providing a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a fun, active and nurturing setting. Whether you're an experienced childcare professional or looking to build a career in education, we'd love to hear from you.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising children before and after the school day
  • Planning and delivering engaging indoor and outdoor activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging teamwork
  • Preparing and serving light snacks where required
  • Ensuring children's safety and wellbeing at all times
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Requirements or Skills:

  • Recent experience working with children
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and caring approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
