Milk Education is recruiting compassionate and dedicated SEND Teachers to work across Specialist and SEND settings in Bradford from September.

Our partner schools support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs and Speech & Language needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to EHCP outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists and external professionals.
  • Support pupils' communication, independence and life skills.
  • Monitor progress and celebrate individual achievements.
  • Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
  • Build strong relationships with families and multi-disciplinary teams.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices.
  • Patient, adaptable and resilient.
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • SEN qualifications or specialist training are advantageous but not essential.
