We're currently recruiting for Qualified Secondary Teachers to work on supply across secondary schools in and around Bolton and Bury, on a long- or short-term basis. This role is available on a supply basis and could include day-to-day work, short-term placements or longer-term positions, depending on your preference and availability.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Deliver high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4, following school policies, curriculum plans and schemes of work while maintaining a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Teach your specialist subject effectively, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different classes, year groups and abilities.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using strong behaviour management strategies to ensure pupils remain focused, safe and engaged throughout the school day.
- Adapt lessons and learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND, EAL and varying abilities, promoting inclusion and ensuring every student can access learning.
- Complete all expected teaching responsibilities, including planning where required, marking, assessment, safeguarding and effective communication with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
- Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, colleagues and school leaders.
- Support the wider life of the school where appropriate, contributing to a positive school culture and the wider development of pupils.
Requirements or Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Recent experience teaching within UK Secondary Schools, ideally within your specialist subject.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to different school settings.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum, safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices.
- The ability to build positive relationships with young people and create a safe, respectful and engaging learning environment.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and the Right to Work in the UK.
