We're currently recruiting for a Primary KS2 Teacher to join a school in Bolton on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative and inclusive lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

  • Creating a positive classroom environment where pupils feel confident, valued and motivated to learn.

  • Differentiating lessons and resources to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND.

  • Supporting pupils to develop strong skills in reading, writing, mathematics and the wider curriculum.

  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to address learning gaps.

  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider aims and values of the school.

  • Promoting positive behaviour, independence and high expectations throughout the school day.

Requirements or Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally within KS2.

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom practice.

  • Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a supportive school team.
