  • Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence.

  • Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

  • Working closely with teachers and other professionals to support individual pupil needs.

  • Building positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers.

  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

Requirements or Skills:

  • Level 4 qualification or relevant HLTA experience.

  • Recent experience working within a primary school setting.

  • Confidence supporting learning across different year groups.

  • Experience working with pupils with SEND is desirable.

  • Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

  • A positive and adaptable approach to working with children.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children.

  • Speedy registration process & fast-track compliance - APSCo Compliance+ accredited for the highest safer recruitment standards.

  • Flexible days and working hours to suit your schedule.

  • Culture-matched placements - we take the time to understand you and find schools that fit your values and strengths.
