We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Bolton to join welcoming secondary schools on a long-term, short-term, or temp-to-perm basis. Your Main Responsibilities

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, responding to their individual learning needs
• Delivering intervention and catch-up sessions to help students close learning gaps
• Working alongside teachers to support lesson delivery and adapt learning resources where required
• Promoting an inclusive classroom where every student feels supported and encouraged to succeed
• Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs where appropriate
• Building positive relationships with students, teachers, and pastoral staff to improve engagement and confidence

Requirements or Skills

• A recent university graduate - all degree subjects considered
• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education or teaching
• Recent experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working collaboratively as part of a team
• Based in or able to commute to Bolton

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience.
