Graduate Classroom Supervisor (Secondary School)

Location: Bishop Auckland + Surrounding Areas

We are recruiting for Classroom Supervisors for 11-18 Secondary Schools in Bishop Auckland and the surrounding areas, to work on an ongoing basis for the #removed# academic year.

Schools use Classroom Supervisors to support non-contact time for teachers - you will be given the opportunity to gain classroom management experience without being a qualified teacher, in a school which offers a welcoming and supportive teaching and learning environment.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
  • Follow and implement the school's Safeguarding and Behaviour policies
  • Liaise with the school's Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes
  • No planning or marking required
