A vibrant secondary school in The Wirral is looking to appoint a Music Teacher who can inspire creativity, confidence and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Milk Education is supporting an inclusive and ambitious secondary school seeking a talented Music Teacher to join their Performing Arts department. The school has a strong commitment to the arts and believes creative subjects play a vital role in developing confident, well-rounded young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a department where students are encouraged to perform, compose and develop their musical talents both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to concerts, productions and extracurricular music activities across the academic year.
What you'll be doing:
- Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4.
- Delivering engaging lessons covering performance, composition and music appreciation.
- Preparing students for assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Encouraging participation in school performances, concerts and productions.
- Supporting students of varying abilities to develop their musical confidence.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the Performing Arts department.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
- Strong musical knowledge and practical skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire young musicians.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for creative education and student achievement.
