Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming and supportive Primary Schools across Billingham and the surrounding areas and is looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Year 3/4 Teachers to join schools from September 2026.

You'll play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons across Lower Key Stage 2, supporting pupils' academic and personal development and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Year 3 and Year 4 in line with the Primary curriculum.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Develop pupils' reading, writing, maths, and wider curriculum skills.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and the wider school team.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs.

    Skills, Qualifications & Experience

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
    • Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable.
    • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
    • Strong knowledge of the Primary and Lower KS2 curriculum.
    • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
    • Strong understanding of assessment and pupil progress.
    • Passion for delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
    • Ability to inspire, motivate, and support pupils.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
