We're currently recruiting for Aspiring Primary Teachers to join Primary Schools across North Durham on a long or short-term basis starting in September. Main Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to pupils' individual learning needs
- Assisting with the delivery of targeted intervention and catch-up sessions to help pupils bridge learning gaps
- Collaborating with the class teacher to support lesson planning and adapt learning resources to meet diverse needs
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued, respected, and included
Requirements or Skills:
- Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)
- Solid numeracy and literacy skills
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar - or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
- Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team
- Passion for working with children
- No relocation, lives locally to the Northeast
