Milk Education is recruiting a Primary Education Assistant to work within a friendly and inclusive school in Northumberland from September 2026.
This full-time position is ideal for someone who wants to play an active role in supporting children's education while working alongside experienced teachers and support staff.
The Role
- Assist teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
- Support pupils with their learning across the primary curriculum
- Work with individuals and small groups
- Reinforce key skills in reading, writing and maths
- Help pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation
We're Looking For
- Previous experience working with children is desirable
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication skills
