Working hours: 8:30-3:30 Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
Salary: Β£450-Β£550 per week

We're currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a Secondary School in Alnwick on a long-term basis starting in September. This role is temporary; however, many of our candidates go on to become permanent members of the wider team at the school following a successful interview process.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to their individual needs
- Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
- Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
- Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
- Recent experience supporting children or vulnerable adults
- An Enhanced Child and Adult Workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one
- The ability to provide 2 recent employment references

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
