Production Operative - WEEKEND SHIFT

We are currently recruiting for Machine Operative roles for our client based in Tamworth B79.

Our client are a leading plastic injection moulding specialist who manufacture products for a number of different industries.

As a Production Operative , you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of plastic products.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours of work

  • DAYS Friday OR Monday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm.
  • NIGHTS Friday OR Monday 10pm-6am, Saturday & Sunday 6pm-6am
  • Rate of pay is £12.91 - £14 DAYS and £15.18 NIGHTS

Role of a Production Operative

  • Operate machines and other production equipment.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Assembling products according to specification
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
