AM2PM are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives who would like to upskill to:

  • LLOP Drivers
  • Reach Forklift Drivers
  • HLOP Drivers
  • VNA Forklift Drivers
  • PPT Drivers

For our client based in the Lutterworth area. Our client is a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Details of a Warehouse Operative:

  • The shifts are 6am-6pm/6pm - 6am rotating (Days and Nights) 4 on 4 off.
  • Overtime rates available.
  • Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91.
  • Once Upskilled: Days £15.58, Nights £16.92, Weekend Days £16.47, Weekend Nights £17.92.

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 20m high.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.
  • Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site.
  • Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations.
  • Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage.
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment.
  • All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment.
