We are seeking a number of dedicated and detail-oriented ICQA (Inventory Control and Quality Assurance) Operatives to join our dynamic warehousing team. As an Inventory Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory control systems. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct regular checks, audits, and verifications to ensure that stock levels and product locations are correctly recorded and maintained.

Hours of work, and rate of pay for the Inventory Operative:

  • AM (08:00-15:45) £13.81
  • PM (16:15-00:00) £14.48
  • NIGHTS (00:00-07:45) £14.87

Responsibilities of an Inventory Operative:

  • Support the Inbound team with resolving receiving issues.
  • Raise support tickets on the Customer control tower systems.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock records.
  • Verify product locations within the warehouse to maintain organization.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in inventory promptly.
  • Report the found defects so proactive measures are put in place.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to implement corrective measures for errors.
  • Maintain detailed records of all inventory checks and findings.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining inventory control systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support with implementation of changes and testing systems.

Requirements of an Inventory Operative:

  • Previous experience in warehousing or inventory control is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including walking, standing, and lifting.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
