We are recruiting for VNA HLOP Drivers for our client based in the Bury St Edmunds area. Our client is a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.
Requirements of a VNA HLOP Driver:
- Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
- Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 18m high
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good and effective communication skills
- Proactive attitude
- Physically fit - some items can be up to 32kg in weight.
Details:
- Day Shift - Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, £15.33 per hour
- Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday, 4pm to 12am, £15.33 per hour
- Overtime rates available
Duties of a VNA HLOP Driver:
- Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 18m high.
- Securely operate FLT (hilop, mlop, ppt) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
- Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
- Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
- General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
- All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
