Warehouse Operative – £12.60 per hour – £16.05 per hour – Shaw, Greater Manchester – Overtime available, paid at a higher rate
Minimum 38 hours per week
Shift pattern available: 4 days on, 4 days off between 2 pm – 1:30 am, £12.60 per hour and £16.05 per hour from 10 pm until 1:30 am.
Overtime is offered once you’ve passed the training period.

The Role
Are you looking for a long-term contract with overtime hours paid at a higher rate, ahead of the summer?
AM2PM are delighted to be working with this high-profile retail FMCG client who distributes their products nationally, based in the Shaw area, just outside of Oldham.
As a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for picking orders using a headset, packing online orders for customers into bags and boxes, or labelling and using hand scanners.
Attention to detail is key, as is working to targets and KPIs. Being organised and able to prioritise workloads are also key skills in this role.
Quality is key here, and training will be provided to support you with the key tasks to ensure standards and targets are met.
Shifts and Pay Rates available:
- 4 days on 4 days off: 2 pm – 1:30 am
- Pay rate: £12.60 per hour between 2 pm – 10 pm, and £16.05 after 10 pm
- Location: Shaw, Greater Manchester
- These are long-term, ongoing positions with a potential to go permanent
- Own transport needs to be accommodated after finishing the shift
- Previous experience in a similar setting and role is beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided.
The Person
Our client is keen to recruit motivated individuals who are open to learning and who are keen to progress their careers within a target-driven FMCG environment. Temporary to permanent roles are available for the right candidates. You may have already worked within a warehouse, but this is not essential as training is provided.
