HGV1 WEEKEND DRIVER

We are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-known haulage company in North and South Lanarkshire.

Sat and Sun operation – part time & Overnights available

The Role

• You will be delivering general haulage loads to various locations throughout the UK
• Trunking, stores, depot to depot, shunts to various depots or overnights.
• Safely operating and transporting goods to designated locations
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring the load is secured
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

The Person

• You will hold a Class 1 licence, Digi card and valid CPC card & Maximum 6 points on licence, no DR, DD, IN, CD endorsements
• Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
• You will be able to start immediately
• You will have the experience to work with various companies and learn new skills within the haulage industry.
