Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Derby

Salary: Mornings – £12.21ph / Nights – £15.28ph

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Shifts: Choice of Mornings – 6am to 2pm / Nights – 10pm to 6am (Training on days beforehand required)

You must be available for an induction on Friday and start training next week.

About the Role:

AM 2 PM Recruitment is looking for reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join our client\’s dynamic team in Derby. This role is essential for ensuring smooth warehouse operations while maintaining safety, efficiency, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
• Load and unload deliveries following site procedures
• Move stock within the warehouse to designated areas
• Perform daily equipment checks and report faults
• Collaborate with warehouse and transport teams to meet deadlines
• Complete relevant paperwork and records accurately
• Follow health & safety, quality, and environmental procedures

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
• At least 6 months of FLT experience in a logistics environment
• Understanding of warehouse operations and stock movement
• Attention to detail and process adherence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
