We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a critical part of our operations, you will help maintain the flow of goods through our warehouse, ensuring products are processed, stored, and dispatched efficiently and with the utmost care. Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Handling Warehouse Operations: Operating warehouse machinery, including balers, to process and manage stock effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspecting products to ensure they meet the company's quality standards before packaging or dispatch.
  • Inventory Management: Picking, packing, and storing items accurately while maintaining proper records.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Following all safety and security policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the baler and other warehouse equipment are regularly checked, operated safely, and kept in good working condition.
  • Coordination: Collaborating with team members and other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges to maintain the flow of goods.
  • Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace at all times.

Qualifications for a Warehouse Operative:

The successful candidate will have the following:

Required:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in operating a baler and other warehouse equipment.
  • Understanding of quality assurance metrics and methods.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy items.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred:
