Warehouse Operative -MHE Upskilling AM2PM are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives who would like to upskill to:

  • LLOP Drivers
  • Reach Forklift Drivers
  • HLOP Drivers
  • VNA Forklift Drivers
  • PPT Drivers For our client based in the Lutterworth area.

Our client are a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Operative

  • The shifts are Static Days 6am-6pm or Static Nights 6pm - 6am rotating 4 on 4 off.
  • Prior to your MHE Certification your pay rate will be £12.91
  • Once Upskilled: Days £15.41, Nights £15.94, Weekend Days £16.13, Weekend Nights £16.44 Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
  • Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
  • Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 20m high
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills

* Good communication skills Duties of a Warehouse Operative

  • Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment - please note, the racking in the warehouse is 20m high.
  • Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
  • Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
  • Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
  • Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
  • General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
