- This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position
- Average shift times are 06:30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday Requirements of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
- Valid LGV2 (Category C) driving licence.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Previous experience operating tipper vehicles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues. Role of a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver:
- Safely operate an LGV2 tipper vehicle to deliver and collect waste in Glasgow and nearby areas.
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported in compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents.
