Production Operative role with temp to perm opportunities. AM2PM are recruiting for experienced Production Operatives for our client based in the Bromyard area. Our client is a leading manufacturer who specialise in plastic injection mouldings for the automotive sector.

Hours of Work for Production Operative:

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Wednesday 2pm to 12pm, Thursday 2.30pm to 11.30pm

Please note this is a rotating shift so you must be able to work both AM and PM shifts.

Rate of pay: between £12.71 and £13.50 per hour.

Duties of a Production Operative:

  • Check the quality of parts produced by the injection moulding machines
  • Operate production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Assembly duties including trimming, sanding, and shaping plastic parts
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Requirements of a Production Operative:

  • Experience working in a factory production environment (3 plus months)
  • Assembly experience preferred
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective communication skills
