We are recruiting for Food Production Operative roles in Cambridge. You will be working for a leading food manufacturing company producing jams and conserves.
Details of a Food Production Operative:
- Rate of Pay: Β£15.10 per hour for day shifts and Β£17.32 per hour for night shifts
- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, rotating 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts
- Location: Cambridge
- Duration: Ongoing
Role of a Food Production Operative:
- Operating and taking ownership of production processes to meet business targets
- Working within a team to deliver high-volume production
- Monitoring the production area to achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery and performance targets
- Controlling production processes to ensure products meet legal and quality requirements
- Operating machinery and managing the assigned production area independently
- Following Good Manufacturing Practice at all times
- Following all health and safety procedures as a priority
- Ensuring products meet all specifications and performance standards
- Completing accurate production records to meet due diligence and traceability requirements
- Recording production activities, actions and ingredients accurately
Requirements of a Food Production Operative:
- Relevant production or food manufacturing experience
- Able to commute independently to the site
- Flexible to work additional hours occasionally to meet business needs
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties
- Able to work rotating day and night shifts
