We are recruiting for Welder roles near Brough. You will be working for a well-established manufacturing business based in Gilberdyke that is going through an exciting period of growth. This role includes both Welding and Fabrication.

Requirements of a Welder:

  • Previous welding experience
  • Previous fabrication experience
  • Able to work accurately from engineering drawings
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks

Details of a Welder:

  • Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7.30-16.30 and Friday 07:30-13:30
  • Location: Gilberdyke, near Brough
  • Duration: Temp to perm

Role of a Welder:

  • Carrying out welding across a range of manufacturing projects
  • Fabricating metal products and components
  • Working from engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications
  • Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
  • Measuring and checking parts using calipers, micrometers and other measuring equipment
  • Cutting metal using cutting equipment, grinders and drills
  • Grinding, sanding and filing metal surfaces to prepare them for welding or machining
  • Identifying and resolving production or quality issues
  • Working independently and as part of a team to complete daily tasks
