We are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operative roles for our client based in the Bury St Edmunds area. Our client is a leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands.
Hours of Work & Pay Rates:
- Rotating every 2 weeks: 8am-4pm & 4pm-12am
- You will start on the Warehouse Operative rate of: £14.44 per hour
- Once Upskilled Pay Rates increase to £15.33
- Overtime rates available
Requirements of a Warehouse Operative MHE Upskilling:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work at height for long periods of time - 18m high
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good and effective communication skills
Role of a Warehouse Operative MHE Upskilling:
- Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners
- Securely pack & palletise items ready for dispatch to customers
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles manually
- General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
- All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
- Securely operate FLT (hilop, mlop, ppt) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
- Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
- Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
