Warehouse Operatives – Immediate Starts Available!
Location: Omega Park, Warrington
Pay: £12.70 per hour + 19%-night shift allowance (paid between 10pm – 6am)
Shifts: 3 days on, 3 days off
• Day Shift: 7am – 7pm
• Night Shift: 7pm – 7am
AM2PM are proud to be working in partnership with Home Bargains at their brand-new, purpose-built distribution centre at Omega Park in Warrington. We’re now recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join this growing team.
Job Overview
You will play a key role in the smooth operation of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Order Picking: Accurately follow instructions to pick customer orders.
2. Machine Operation: Operate Order Picking Units (OPUs), LLOPs, and other relevant equipment safely. Complete pre-use checks as required.
3. Manual Handling: Involves pedestrian picking and secure picking tasks – includes regular lifting and handling of stock.
4. Goods In & Out: Load and unload trailers, receive and check deliveries, and safely store or dispatch stock and equipment.
5. Health & Safety: Consistently follow all health and safety procedures and policies.
6. Stock Management: Rotate and store stock as per procedures, assist with inventory checks, and report any damages or discrepancies to Section Managers.
7. Hygiene Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all working areas, and use equipment in line with operational expectations.
8. Reporting: Work safely around operational machinery and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly.
9. Teamwork: Work flexibly and support various departments across the warehouse as required.
