Location: Hillington, Glasgow
Salary: £32,868 per annum + discretionary bonuses (OTE approx. £35,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 48 hours per week

AM2PM Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hillington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LGV Driver Supervisor to join a well-established logistics team in a dynamic and fast-paced distribution centre.

The Role: Driver Supervisor

As Driver Supervisor, you will support the Glasgow Distribution Centre management team to ensure next-day deliveries are completed smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inducting and training new LGV driver recruits

  • Providing driving cover during holidays and sickness

  • Assisting site management in ensuring LGV fleet compliance with O Licence obligations

  • Performing administrative duties to support daily delivery operations

  • Addressing day-to-day driver performance or welfare concerns

  • Recommending improvements to the Operations Manager for more cost-effective fleet operations

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role managing LGV drivers

  • A full LGV Category C (Class 2) licence

  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC (Driver Qualification Card)

  • Forklift licence is advantageous (training can be provided)

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks

  • A customer-focused approach with excellent service skills
