Class 1 Walking Floor Driver in Hamilton, Lanarkshire

CLASS 1 Day-shift Driver £17per hour based in Blantyre, Lanarkshire

Mon to Sun operation working any 5/7

Regular work, ongoing each week

We are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-known haulage company in Lanarkshire.

The Role

• -You will be delivering general haulage loads to various locations throughout the UK
• Safely operate a HGV vehicleto transport goods to designated locations
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring the load is secured
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

The Person

• Proven experience as a commercial driver
• Valid LGV1 licence, CPC and digital tachograph card
• Maximum 6 points on licence, no DR,DD,IN,CD endorsements
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
