The Role
Do you have in-depth knowledge of the legal sector? Are you a clear communicator with great personal skills? Are you expert at stakeholder engagement?
We’re on the hunt for an External Affairs Manager to lead our engagement with key players in the legal sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy external affairs team, where you will shape our engagement with some of the country’s largest law firms and key external stakeholders.
Working closely with sister teams including public affairs, international and member engagement, the post holder will help to coordinate our activity and communicate it clearly to leading members. Building relationships and deep knowledge of the sector, the post holder will help to inform and shape our wider activity to ensure we are serving our members effectively.
What we’re looking for
- You will have excellent project management, communication, presentation, report writing and drafting skills.
- You will have excellent ability to build, develop and maintain working relationships with other team members and with senior internal and external stakeholders coupled with the ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.
- You will have experience of overseeing the work of others to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard. You will also be proactive, action orientated and delivery focused approach.
