Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Manager with extensive experience in commercial construction and a proven track record working with Tier 1 contractors. This role is a 12-month contract on a high-profile project, requiring a hands-on leader who can effectively manage site operations, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is completed on schedule and to a high standard.
2. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
3. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
4. Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues.
5. Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
6. Monitor budgets, materials, and site logistics to maximize efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects.
2. Strong background working with Tier 1 contractors.
3. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
