Purpose
The reliability engineer will identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plant operations. They are also required to develop (and/or adopt), maintain, and drive the implementation of asset reliability programs and best practices.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Equipment Management
- Provide technical expertise to reduce repetitive failures of rotating equipment in addition to supporting plant maintenance activities implementing reliability program to improve plant performance.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve any Reliability Engineering issues that arise.
- Facilitate appropriate Root Cause Analysis studies to develop detailed improvement action plans.
- Develop equipment strategies and tactics based on OEM recommendations supported by RCM based methodology and performance feedback.
- Facilitate and manage all reliability programs.
- Provide technical support to the operation team during the entire lifecycle of the plant\’s major equipment, analyzing their performances, operative conditions and boundaries to guarantee reliable and safe operations.
- Propose changes in operating modes, or technological improvement, or maintenance strategies implementation, to support the company\’s vision of continuous improvement.
- Managing recording of assets, including changes, to the registry, as well as the associated critical spares inventory.
SHEQ
- Participate in AINM\’s (Accident, Incident, Near Miss) reviews and assist in the evaluation of the safety status of the workshop.
- Participate in safety management related activities including routine plant safety.
Team Building & Incentive
- Develop and deliver Engineering related training modules for production staff.
Communication
- Communicate and coordinate with production related departments.
- Deliver KPIs.
- Participate in communication with customers if necessary.
Confidentiality
- Follow Corporate TSP regulations to maintain confidentiality on sensitive information.
Others
- Complete other tasks assigned by superior.

Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Essential: Bachelor\’s degree in reliability or mechanical engineering. HNC/HND with demonstrable experience will also be considered.
- Desirable: Vibration analysis training, Ultrasound analysis training, Asset Reliability Practitioner.
Key Skills
- Essential: Experience as a Reliability Engineer; defining preventative, predictive, corrective and breakdown engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis on Assets.
- You should possess in-depth knowledge of all reliability programs such as RCM, CBM, FEMCA, Bad Actors, MTBF, MTTR (other programs will be considered).
- A thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, and international codes, standards and specifications is also essential.
- Desirable: Experience on an upper tier chemical manufacturing plant.
Work Experience: 3 years engineering experience in a similar role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
