As an Associate Product Manager at AM Insights, you will spend time gathering client insights, supporting onboarding and training, and working closely with the Founder to turn those insights into product improvements. AM Insights is the next-generation fund data platform for Asset and Wealth Managers. AM Insights doesn't just give our clients better access to fund data, it keeps them a step ahead. With proactive alerts and analysis across devices, they are always prepared, relevant, and meeting-ready.
What you will be doing
- Gather user feedback during onboarding, training sessions, and support interactions.
- Document client feedback, feature requests, and pain points in a structured way that informs product decisions.
- Work closely with the Founder to translate client insights into product recommendations and contribute to prioritisation discussions.
- Collaborate with the CTO and development team - write user stories, clarify requirements, provide context on client needs, and test new features before release.
- Support client onboarding and product training.
- Conduct product demos for prospects and existing clients.
- Analyse product usage data to identify patterns, understand how clients use features, and spot opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain help articles and training materials.
- Become the internal product expert - answer product questions from the development team, service desk, and sales team.
- Prepare materials for client meetings - usage reports, feature adoption analysis, and product value demonstrations.
- Communicate product updates and new releases to clients through training sessions, documentation, and email updates.
- Assist with renewal conversations by demonstrating product value and preparing usage data.
What you bring
- 2-3 years of experience in a product, customer success, solutions, or client-facing role at a B2B SaaS company.
- Product curiosity - you’re interested in how products work and want to learn how product decisions get made.
- Technical aptitude - can learn complex software quickly and explain it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable running product demos and training sessions.
- Strong written communication - you’ll be documenting requirements, writing help articles, and synthesising feedback.
- Analytical mindset - comfortable working with usage data and drawing insights from patterns.
- Self-directed on execution work - can run onboarding or write documentation independently once you know what’s expected.
- Experience with asset managers, wealth managers, or financial services clients.
- Previous Associate Product Manager, Product Analyst, or Solutions Consultant experience.
- Background in user research, product operations, or customer-facing product roles.
- Technical background or familiarity with APIs, data platforms, or analytics tools.
- Experience at an early-stage or bootstrapped company.
