AM Global have an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our clients state of the art production facility based in Stockton on Tees. Please note, this will go to a 3 shift system of days, backs and nights once fully trained.

Main Purpose of the role: To manage the shift and all direct staff on site. To maintain the smooth running of all manufacturing areas ensuring health and safety, quality standards, and operational KPIs are achieved in line with the company’s expectations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the health and safety of colleagues ensuring company procedures are always followed as per the Health and Safety company handbook.
  • Support the Manager’s embedding a culture of lean and continuous improvement to drive performance.
  • Monitor daily time sheets and performance of the shift reporting deviations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure quality and GMP standards are always maintained.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers are carried out and documented.
  • Produce shift reports and operational data in line with business expectations.
  • Escalate issues in a timely and accurate manner, communicating to CSR’s if daily requirements are in jeopardy of not being achieved.
  • Attend any site meetings (e.g Operational, Quality, or safety) in line with roles expectations.
  • Actively support continuous improvement.
  • Drive and assess training and development of colleagues so all areas of the business have sufficient cover across shifts.
  • Create and implement SOP’s.
  • Can do will do attitude.
  • NCR’s, following up on NCRs investigation, root cause and corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Ensure staff have all the resources needed to carry out duties effectively and efficiently on their shift.
