AM Global are looking to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis at their manufacturing facility in Stockton.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a multiskilled maintenance engineer
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics
- Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools
- Ability to perform a wide range of handyman tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driving license
The role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for performing all mechanical and electrical work. This role involves the execution of both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, which are critical for the smooth operation and longevity of the systems in place. The individual in this role must be capable of self-delivering these services working to the H&S standards while doing so.
The routine mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks that this role encompasses include, but are not limited to, the maintenance of printers, guillotines, packing machines, compressors, boiler systems and general day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.
Handyperson duties. This is a more general term that can encompass a wide range of tasks. These tasks might not be as technically complex as mechanical or electrical work, but they still require a certain level of skill and knowledge.
