Experienced Commercial Manager required to join our team on the Hinkley Point C. We specialize in complex project management work in the oil and gas industry, with expertise in fabrication, construction, and installation. The company operates as a fabricator, construction contractor, or installer anywhere in the world. Testing is carried out by our own professionals with great care and safety.
This is a full-time role for a Commercial Manager based on the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project. The Commercial Manager will oversee multiple projects, managing contracts and budgets while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Commercial Manager will also be responsible for business planning, team management, and analysing market trends and competitors.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Commercial Management and Contract Management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in business planning and market analysis.
- Effective team management skills and ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Project Specifics
The position will be based onsite. This role will report into the Project Director and sits within the Project Controls function overseen by the Commercial Director.
Working Hours: 10 days on and 4 days off (10 hours per day)
Duration: starting ASAP through until late 2028
Allowances: Accommodation Allowance is payable per night worked for any candidates that live over 40 miles from site. Travel Time and Rail Fare payment is also payable once per month during the designated site long weekend. (Only available for Monthly PAYE option).
