Support Tendering and Projects execution within Procurement function, by implementing procurement plan and appropriate vendor selection. Own compliance with process and procedures during project (CAPEX or EPCI) projects.
Prepare, maintain and proactively manage procurement plan for tenders and projects. Ensure supply chain tenders are executed according to process; ensure the optimum commercial and contractual position is negotiated, achieved and maintained. Ensure suppliers are selected based on core values, policies and HSEQ policy standards consistent with ENS. Ensure systems are updated and new suppliers are correctly registered.
Supply Chain Management: Maintain and update working files on approved suppliers, including monitoring performance and non-conformance cases.
Procurement Process: Ensure the Procurement and Supply Chain Department capitalises from lessons learned and proactively contributes to other functions in the continuous improvement of the processes. Support on various ongoing improvement initiatives within the Procurement and Supply Chain Department. Implement Procurement methodology. Negotiate and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement and optimisation of supplier performance. Run risk analyses to establish security of future supplies. Develop plans and schedules for the achievement of procurement system development.
Procurement and supply chain procedures, standards and systems are implemented, adhered to and continually reviewed to take into account lessons learnt, development in technology and industry best practice. Compliance with procurement budget. Compliance with safety standards, regulatory and statutory bodies, company procedures, practices and protocols. All suppliers & sub-contractors engaged are suitably qualified and approved.
Creative/Innovator, Decisive Thinker Networker with strong interpersonal skills. Degree (or relevant work experience). Experience of leading project procurement. Experience of a global project buying environment. Procurement experience in multi-project, engineering environment. Commercial acumen.
