About The Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your production leadership career? We’re looking for a proactive Shift Manager to join our Production team at AMFRESH Peterborough, working a 4 on 4 off day-shift pattern. This is a great opportunity for someone with production leadership experience who is ready to take on broader shift accountability within a fast-paced fresh produce environment. You’ll take ownership of a production area during your shift, ensuring performance, safety, quality and people standards are consistently delivered. Working closely with your team and wider site functions, you’ll help drive efficiency, reduce waste and support continuous improvement across the operation.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a production team to deliver shift KPIs safely and efficiently
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety, hygiene and compliance standards
- Driving yield improvement and minimising waste
- Using performance data to identify and implement improvements
- Escalating maintenance issues to minimise downtime
- Coaching, supporting and developing team members
- Ensuring accurate traceability and product compliance

About You
We’re looking for someone with strong production leadership experience within a food manufacturing, fresh produce or similar fast-paced environment.
