We are looking for an Operations Allocator to join our Peterborough operations team on our 4 on 4 off shift pattern, supporting the smooth coordination of operational services across our fresh produce supply chain. Working closely with the Operations Planning Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining strong communication with suppliers and customers, and supporting the delivery of high service standards across the business. This is a fast-paced, site-based role, where you will work closely with operational teams to support day-to-day activities and help drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational bookings and ensure information is delivered accurately and on time
- Support the smooth running of daily operations while meeting customer KPIs and service expectations
- Assist in resolving operational issues quickly to avoid supply disruption
- Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and operational partners
- Support cost control initiatives and ensure operational invoices are checked and processed accurately
- Provide operational reporting and updates to support the wider Operations team
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and good manufacturing practices

About You
We are looking for someone with strong logistics and planning foundations to ensure the efficiency of operations. You will have:
- Experience in a logistics, supply or planning role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Confidence in making decisions on a day to day basis around issues that arise
- The ability to work well in a team
- A broad understanding of the fresh produce industry
