We are recruiting for a Baler Operative at our Peterborough site. This is a permanent, weekly-paid position providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off – (05:45 – 18:15)
Hourly Rate: £12.80 (paid weekly)
Responsibilities
- Operate baler equipment on site as per training.
- Ensure timely handling of cardboard and general waste.
- Assist Production team in removing waste from original packaging to waste bins.
- Perform general warehouse duties including restacking of pallets, moving leaning pallets from racking, reassessments, return to supplier preparation, dumping of stock and general warehouse hygiene.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Good understanding of waste segregation and warehouse safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
