About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer to join our established on-site HR team for a 15-month maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building strong relationships across all levels, and contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
As HR Officer, you’ll provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring a consistent and professional approach to people matters. You’ll handle a range of employee relations cases, support investigations, and offer coaching and advice to line managers. In addition, you’ll play an active role in delivering employee engagement initiatives and supporting wider HR projects that enhance the employee experience.
This role will be primarily Monday to Friday, with one evening per week to provide support to our Night Shift teams. It’s a varied position where no two days are the same – perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, fast-moving environment, and will be comfortable in a factory and warehouse environment.
About You
- CIPD Level 3 qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employment law
- Proven experience managing a variety of ER cases
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build trust
- Resilient, organised, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Previous experience in a fast-paced HR environment is highly desirable
- Available to start soon and hit the ground running
