About the Role
We are looking for a Store Quality Controller to visit supermarket stores across the UK, reviewing the quality, condition and presentation of fresh produce.
Initial 6-month fixed-term contract
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm | UK-wide travel
Acting as the eyes and ears of our Technical and Quality teams, you will complete structured store audits, identify quality concerns and provide clear reports back to our category teams. Your feedback will help improve product quality, protect the customer experience and support corrective action.
You will:
- Visit stores across the UK to review product quality, availability, shelf life and date coding.
- Complete structured quality audits and produce clear, accurate reports.
- Identify trends, recurring issues and areas for improvement.
- Escalate significant quality concerns quickly and effectively.
- Work closely with category, technical and quality teams.
About You
Experience within fresh produce, food quality, retail or auditing would be beneficial, but is not essential.
You will have strong attention to detail, excellent written communication skills and the confidence to work independently in a field-based role. You will also be comfortable engaging with store teams and reporting findings clearly to key stakeholders.
A full, clean UK driving licence is essential. The role requires extensive UK travel and regular overnight stays from Monday to Friday.
